India beat West Indies by four wickets in first T20

In Cricket, India beat the West Indies by four wickets in the first Twenty 20 of the three-match international series at Lauderhill in the US last night.

Chasing the target of 96 runs, India made 98 losing six wickets with 16 balls to spare. Rohit Sharma top scored 24. Captain Virat Kohli and Manish Pandey made 19 each.

Earlier, put into bat, Caribbeans made 95 for the loss of nine wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Kieron Pollard top scored 49. For India, Navdeep Saini claimed three wickets giving 17 runs.

The 2nd T20 will be played today at the same venue.
