Death toll from series of bomb explosions in Sri Lanka rises to 185

In Sri Lanka, the death toll from a series of bomb explosions targeting churches and five-star hotels in capital Colombo has risen to 185, Among the dead, 11 are foreign nationals; At least 469 injured have been admitted to hospitals.

People have been advised to stay indoors and not to come out unnecessarily. WhatAapp and Facebook services have been restricted to avoid rumours.

There were bomb explosions at St. Anthony’s Church in Colombo and other two churches in Negombo and Batticaloa. The attacks happened around 9 AM when the churches were organizing Easter mass while services were organized at the hotels. No organization has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
