4 Arrested in Bulandshahr violence, main perpetrator Yogesh Raj still absconding

Lucknow. In Uttar Pradesh, 4 persons have been arrested in the case of violence in Syana area of Bulandshahr in which one police inspector and one villager died yesterday.

ADG law and Order of UP police Anand Kumar told media persons today in lucknow that main perpetrator of the violence Yogesh Raj is still absconding and police are trying to nab him. Police has also detained 4 to 5 people for interrogation. Police have lodged two FIRs in the Bulandshahr voilence case. One FIR is against the alleged cattle slaughter and the other FIR under 17 sections of IPC including 302 and 307 has been lodged against 27 known and 60 unknown persons in Syana police station. Investigation in the case has started.

ADG Intelligence SV Shirodkar today visited the spot where Police inspector Subodh Kumar died yesterday after being attacked by people protesting against alleged cattle slaughter in the area.

Meanwhile mortal remains of Police Inspector Subodh Singh brought to his residence in Etah.
